Report French cup 2010 at Montbrison 24 and 25 August.

 The French Cup race has been performed in Montbrison near Lyon the 24th and 25th of August. The outdoor track was really nice to drive and appreaciated by all competitors. The weather was also nice except on saturday morning ( small rain ). There were around 50 drivers coming from all of the country. in the STOCK class, there was 30 drivers and in the MODIFIED class, 20 drivers. The grip of the track inproved due to the increasing of the asphalt temperature ( thanks to the sun! ) during the competition week-end. Lap times were decreasing also due to these good conditions. At the end of the qualification times, I was at the 17th position. The car was really good to drive, more grip but there was my first time driving in this racetrack. Pierre Delorme signs the pole in STOCK and Loic Jasmin in MODIFIED class.

 The sunday, I was changed my set-up and my lap times were decreasing ( 9th STOCK time ) but qualifier places was definitives. Then, i was going on the 17th position on the grid.

 The finals were more good for me. At the first, i finish 3rd but i have do a little mistake on the last lap. The second wasn't more nice. My car was so difficult to drive ( i wanted to test a new tire treatment ), i finish 7. At the last final, i have taken a really good start, i'm in the 4th position! But at 4"30, i keep a corner too fast and i haved a little mistake. I finishes 4th. Pierre Delorme win the STOCK class and Loic Jasmin the MODIFIED class.

 Finally, i have finished 14th STOCK of my 2nd national event. That was a good experience and a good week-end. The car was more easy to drive and the track at the top!


 La coupe de France s'est déroulée à Montbrison près de Lyon le 24 et 25 Août. Cette piste outdoor était très agréable à rouler et est appréciée pa tous les pilotes. Le temps fut aussi clément sauf le samedi matin où il y eut une pluie fine. Il y avait 50 pilotes venus de toute la France. Il y avait 30 pilotes en stock et 20 pilotes en modifié. Le grip de la piste augmenta grâce aux températures assez élevées ( merci au soleil! ) tout au long du week-end. Les temps au tour sont descendus en flèche grâce aux conditions de piste. Après la fin des qualifications, je suis 17eme. La voiture est très facile à conduire, il y a beaucoup de grip mais c'est la première fois que je roule sur cette piste. Pierre Delorme signe la pole en STOCK et Loic Jasmin en MODIFIE.

 Les finales furent très bonnes pour moi. A la première finale, je finis 3eme malgrès une petite sortie de route alors que j'étais 2eme en remontée sur le leader. La seconde finale ne fut pas aussi bonne que la première. La voiture était difficile à conduire car je voulais essayer un nouveau traitement, Je finis 7eme. A la dernière finale, j'ai prit un très bon départ, je suis en 4eme position au premier départ! Mais alors que j'étais en bagarre avec les trois premiers, vers 4"30 je frole le vibreur de parabolique et je pars dans le décor. Je remonte quand même à la 4eme position. Pierre Delorme gagne en stock et Loic Jasmin en modifié.

 Au final je finis 14eme STOCK pour ma deuxième course nationale. Ca a été une très bonne expérience et un très bon week-end. La voiture était très facile à conduire grâce a un affinement de mes réglages et la piste était au top!
